Festa was born in 2025 out of a very real struggle: planning a birthday party should be exciting, not exhausting. Our co-founder, José, learned this the hard way when helping his girlfriend Melanie plan her rooftop birthday celebration. Between endless calls, unanswered messages, and scattered platforms, the process was stressful—so much so that she decided not to have a party.
Seeing this, José realized something bigger: people spend too much time stressing over plans and not enough time celebrating. He teamed up with longtime friend and fellow software engineer, Julian Navarro, to make it happen. Together, they set out to build a platform that takes the chaos out of event planning—while also helping small vendors grow without drowning in side tasks.
